Description: Annina is a feminist counsellor who helps people recover from disordered eating, drinking and substance use. She employs solution-focused dialogue and positive psychology to support her clients in making lasting life changes. Annina works within a harm reduction framework that is embedded in a Health at Every Size® philosophy and supported by Intuitive Eating strategies. Annina is a Professional Member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), holds an Addictions Careworker Diploma from McMaster University, an Addiction Medicine Online Diploma from the British Columbia Centre On Substance Use, and has previously worked at Sheena's Place in Toronto, a support centre for people affected by eating disorders and their families. Having fully recovered from an eating disorder and problematic drinking herself, Annina knows not only that the struggle is real, but that hope is worth it and that full recovery is possible with the right supports.
